Queensland melons, back on New Zealand’s menu

Queensland melon growers are preparing to export their produce across the Tasman in coming months as a ban put in place for biosecurity purposes lifts.

New Zealand will again be accepting imports, after authorities reached a workable solution on biosecurity protocols.

Rural reporter Sophie Clarke caught up with Melons Australia Executive Officer Jonathon Davey to find out what it means for growers.
