Parent package has bundles for new parents

New parents will benefit from $157 million in the NSW budget announced ahead of Tuesday’s state budget.

The Parent Package includes one hundred additional midwives, extra child and family health nurses to support new parents in hospital and at home and an optional ‘baby bundle’ of essential items for new parents.

NSW Minister for Mental Health, the Minister for Women and the Minister for ageing Tanya Davies spoke to Kayley Harris about how the new package is designed to support new parents at this important time.
