‘Not in a rush to retire’: Dayne Zorko addresses retirement concerns

Jason Matthews

Brisbane Lions veteran Dayne Zorko has revealed he thought last year might have been his last, but he is back enjoying his football more than ever and primed for 2025.

Dayne Zorko told Jason Matthews on Wide World of Sports, “Coming into the season I probably prepared myself that it would be the last but the way I was able to consistently put together a really strong season personally and the team going so well, I certainly did not want that to be the end.”

“I don’t know when the end is going to be, I’m certainly not in a rush to retire, but I understand it’s going to be sooner rather than later,” he continued.
