‘Not about seats at which tables’: Sussan Ley on her Shadow Cabinet decisions

Opposition Leader Sussan Ley has revealed her shadow cabinet with some BIG changes, with the likes of Jane Hume, Barnaby Joyce and Michael McCormack all cut from the frontbench.

Newly-minted Coalition Leader Sussan Ley told Jason Matthews on 4BC Breakfast, “It’s not about seats at which tables, it’s about delivering for the Australian people.”

Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price was demoted from Cabinet to outer ministry and given the shadow defence portfolio. The Opposition Leader has defended this choice saying, “I’m really excited by the role she’s going to play in this critical Discussion we need to have about defence industry in Australia.”
