Grains Australia has announced Richard Simonaitis has been appointed as its new Chief Executive Officer.

The current leader of the Australian Export Grains Innovation Centre will step into the new role from November.

Rural Reporter Brady Evans caught up with Grains Australia Chairman Terry Enright to hear more about the appointment and the direction of the industry.
