NASA spacecraft touches down on asteroid

A NASA spacecraft has touched the surface of an asteroid 200 million miles away from Earth.

John Stanley spoke with the Editor of SpaceInfo.com.au, Jonathan Nally, about the successful landing on Asteroid Bennu.

He says the mission’s goal was to collect a small sample of rubble from the asteroid which could hold the building blocks of our solar system.
