NAB Commodity Report holds farmers in good stead.

Some of the country’s key export markets are suffering as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, but an increase in domestic demand will hold the agriculture sector in good stead.

National Australia Bank has released its monthly commodity report which shows Australia is positioned well in terms of security.

Farmers normally produce enough food for around 60-to-75-million-people – more than double the nation’s population.

Rural reporter Sophie Clarke caught up with NAB agribusiness economist Phin Ziebell for an overview.
