Mustering Growth for children in disaster-prone communities

A wellbeing program designed for rural kids is being rolled out in the New South Wales Northern Rivers, before going nationwide.

Many children struggled with their mental health, after floods devastated the region last year.

The Rural Aid program is aiming to help kids in the bush build resilience before the next natural disaster hits.

Rural reporter Ella Smith spoke to Chief Executive John Warlters about the need for such a program, and what it involves.
