Morrison not honoring his proposal for a federal ICAC

John Stanley

As part of the election, Prime Minister Scott Morrison was questioned on Thursday about a promise that he made last election campaign about introducing a federal integrity commission.

His failure to get it done created a sharp difference between the Coalition and Labor but the contrast became more clear as Scott Morrison made it clear that he does not plan to introduce one in the future while also insulting NSW ICAC.

John Stanley chats to a leading investigative journalist at the Sydney Morning Herald Kate McClymont as to why Scott Morrison has abandoned his proposal for a federal corruption commission.
