Dr Mark Liu from the University of Technology Sydney joined 4BC Afternoons with Sofie Formica to discuss the significant environmental impact of textile consumption with the rise of “fast fashion”.

Fast fashion refers to cheaply produced and priced garments that copy the latest catwalk styles and get pumped quickly through stores in order to maximise on current trends.
