Mercedes-Benz introduces it’s 2nd generation mid sized GLC SUV

Just around the corner and due in showrooms on June 1 the second-generation
Mercedes-Benz GLC – the current long standing and popular SUV outgunned in
the last twelve months by newer product from Audi, BMW and Lexus. The GLC
gaining a fresh new look and more interior room on a 15mm longer wheelbase,
new body coloured wheel arch mouldings, tapered aluminium running boards, 20-
inch AMG bi-colour alloy wheels and larger front brake rotors. Inside a radical
change deleting all of the hard buttons in favour of portrait style display screen,
similar to the latest C-Class sedan. Plus a lot more equipment previously optional
– the C300 4 matic gaining a panoramic sunroof and head up display – the mild
hybrid powertrain with a 48-volt electric system and integrated starter /generator
said to provide fuel savings of around 0.5L/1000km. Prices are up however, from
