Lobby groups turn their attention to increasing drought support ahead of Victorian state budget
Lobby groups are calling on the Victorian State government to better support drought stricken farmers two weeks out from the state budget.
Regions in the South-West are experiencing drought conditions, and are eagerly waiting for an autumn break.
Last September, the state government announced a 13 and a half million dollar support package for struggling producers.
Rural Reporter Alexander Nimmo spoke with United DairyFarmers Victoria President Bernard Free about what more the government needs to do.
