Libertarian Senate candidate Jim Willmott has claimed renewable energies such as wind and solar are destroying farmland and animal habitats as he backs nuclear energy.

He’s also weighed in on the social media ban for those under 16.

“Why is the Government stepping into the space, it’s the parents’ responsibility … it is a nanny state approach,” he told Gary Hardgrave.
