JD Power 2023 US vehicle dependability study shows up some surprises

The J.D. Power 2023 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study is just out which logs the
number of problems found per 100 vehicles of a particular brand – Lexus had the
least amount of problems per 100 vehicles with a score of 133 followed closely
by Genesis with 144. Kia the best of the mass market brands with 152. Mitsubishi
was sixth ahead of Toyota, Hyundai, Mini, Nissan and Mazda with BMW the best
of the German brands on 184, just above the industry average of 186 problems
per 100 Vehicles. Honda, Porsche, Subaru, Volvo, Volkswagen, Jaguar and
Mercedes- Benz all worse than the industry average, Jaguar scoring 229 ahead of
Mercedes-Benz with 240 then Ford with 249, Audi the surprise with 252 problems
per 100 vehicles – Land Rover rounding out the survey with the most problems at
273.
