Invasive Plant Treatment Spray

Researchers from the University of Queensland have developed a treatment to prevent and cure infections on Native Australian plants

The environmentally friendly spray, uses RNA technology to treat plants infected by the invasive fungal disease myrtle rust.

Rural reporter Georgia Kondek spoke with P-H-D candidate Rebecca Degnan about how the disease has become a problem for a number of popular native species.
