Interim trade deal disappointing for dairy

Dairy farmers are hoping India will consider the potential benefits of increasing trade with Australian partners.

Wine, lobster and wool industries will benefit most from an interim agreement inked between the two countries.

But dairy, beef and chickpea produce have been notably left out of the deal.

Rural editor Sophie Clarke caught up with EastAUSmilk co-chief executive Shaugn Morgan to get his take.
