The other day at my place – on the back deck – there was a metre-high peacock – with beautiful velvet blue neck!

That was definitely a first for our place!

Anyway, the annual Aussie Backyard Bird Count is on this weekend. All you need to do is spent 20 minutes outdoors somewhere, jotting down the birds you can see.
