The Maroons are ready and have come together ahead of the first State of Origin, according to assistant coach Matt Ballin.

Speaking to Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, Ballin says the club gives each player the space they need on game day and revealed what it’s like to have Cameron Munster back in the team.

“[He’s] a breath of fresh air around the boys, he’s always got something smart to say … he’s really emotionally intelligent, he knows when to throw a joke in to break the ice a bit,” he said.
