Honda releases more details of it’s 6th generation CR-V SUV
The Honda CR-V really kicked started the SUV revolution – an enormously
successful model for the Japanese manufacturer when first launched – a firm
favourite for Mums taking their kids to school. The sixth generation CR-V is just
around the corner and Honda gave us more details this week – Due shortly it will
kick off from $44,500 plus on-road costs in a range consisting in petrol, petrol-
electric hybrid and with five and seven seat options. Honda suggesting it will be
more spacious with improved performance and handling – also with more safety
technologies and improved connectivity. Longer and wider the CR-V, which
incidentally stands for Comfort Runabout Vehicle, will now come in a seven-
model range, all models featuring improved ergonomics, more premium finishes
and a greater array of driver assistance technologies – the Honda sensing
functions now including moving bicycle detection. I’m David Berthon
