The state is yet to make an application for Category C Relief funding through the Federal Government.

VFF President Emma Germano telling rural editor Eddie Summerfield the state needs to assist farmers.

“We’ve seen the state government put their hand in their pocket, when they’ve caused the disaster of lock downs and assisting small business because of not being able to trade, well that recovery money needs to be available to people at a time of natural disasters,” Ms Germano said.
