Energy prices are dropping, but no one is talking about it

There’s an old joke in consumer affairs that there are only two types of media story: ‘Are you being ripped off?’ and ‘How much can you save?’

Unfortunately people are more likely to respond to the first type than the second: we’re more likely to be pro-active about our bills and budgets if we think someone is trying to put one over us.

Price rises get our attention and we act to try and mitigate them – but what about price drops? Joel Gibson join John Stanley to explain why these drops might have slipped through the cracks.
