Enormous subsidies dedicated to renewable energy have set the entire system on course for collapse, according to energy commentator and economist Alan Moran.

He says Australia must take heed of a prediction made by former Australian Energy Market Operator Chief Matt Zema, that dedication to renewables will end in tears.
