Dubbo Mayor worries over ‘ridiculous’ shortage of rural GP’s

Rural Australia has stayed resilient through COVID, drought, and now floods, but an issue has steadily grown which threatens the wellbeing of Australians.

The number of rural doctors has dropped significantly over 10 years from 800 to less than 200.

Dubbo regional Mayor Ben Shields joins John Stanley to share how the area is coping with the rain and just how dire the GP situation is.
