Demand for sheepmeat grows
Favourable seasonal conditions is leading to a boom in our sheepmeat production.
Above average rainfall patterns across most eastern sheep regions will cause the national flock to rise by more than 7% this year, and there’s also growing international demand for our products across a number of global markets.
Rural Reporter Rhiannon Soliman-Marron caught up with Meat and Livestock Australia Senior Analyst Ripley Atkinson, to talk more about what’s forecast for the sector.
