Cyclists riding to help find a dementia cure

100 cyclists are riding from Bondi Beach in Sydney and for a 155 kilometre journey to Berry on the New South Wales South Coast to raise money for and support the work of Dementia Australia.

The Bondi2Berry Ride has raised more than $500,000 for Dementia Australia since it started in 2016.

There is no cure for dementia. The money raised goes towards supporting people impacted by dementia and towards the vital research into one day finding a cure.

The event’s co-founder and and organiser Nick Young spoke to Luke Grant live from the event.
