COVID-19 consulting will cost taxpayers $3.5 million

The Andrews Government has hired over 30 KPMG consultants at a cost of almost $3.5 million to the taxpayer, to assist with the state’s COVID-19 response, it has been revealed.

Rachel Baxendale, Victorian Political Reporter for The Australian, joins Luke Grant with the latest developments in Victoria’s coronavirus saga, which include 127 cases overnight, 2 COVID-19 related deaths, residents locked inside public housing and the closure of the NSW/Victoria border for the first time in 100 years, and the real possibility of a statewide or Melbourne metropolitan lockdown.
