Communities to be safer through new fire prediction technology

Nationally consistent bushfire modelling and prediction technology will be developed by the CSIRO to be used by fire authorities across the country.

The platform will combine current fire behaviour knowledge with local landscapes and weather conditions to give emergency services the best chance to protect communities.
