Buying a new Honda about to change

Buying a new Honda has changed with the local company detailing a new Honda Price Promise purchasing and ownership model from July 1. The new Agency model will see a reduction in Honda dealers with drive-away pricing standardised across the country with no room for haggling or negotiation. With Honda Australia owning the stock and not the dealer the new sales regime is expected to see price increases on most Honda models according to a motor trade insider.
Included with the fixed drive-away pricing is a five-year unlimited kilometre warranty, as previously, along with a previously optional five-year Premium Roadside Assistance package and five years of capped price servicing. Customers will pay $125 for each scheduled service, Honda Aust. claiming the new five-year service model will cost $625 saving on average around $1250. They concede the new purchase model is not for everyone but will make the transaction easier and more enjoyable. Honda this week revealed pictures of its 11th generation Civic hatch due in Australia during 2022.
