Bridget McKenzie backing Peter Dutton to remain as Opposition Leader if Labor wins election

Senator Bridget McKenzie has been one of the Coalition’s loudest voices in the 2025 federal election.

The Senator has been vocal on nuclear energy, support for the Bush, big upgrades to roads and rail, and Labor’s Medicare scare campaign.

Senator McKenzie told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “I think Peter Dutton’s done a magnificent job keeping the Liberal Party united, working collaboratively with the National Party to put forward a really positive plan for our nation.”

“I have every expectation that Peter Dutton will remain the leader of the Liberal Party.”

“Hopefully, he’ll be our next Prime Minister, that’s what we’re working on,” Senator McKenzie continued.
