Two cities, 6 towns, and 12 shires – that was the original make up of Brisbane before everything amalgamated into one mega council representing the whole city in October 1925. Today, Brisbane City Council has one of the biggest council budgets in the country. But is the current setup working as well as it should, or should we revert to how we were before?
