Boosting Macadamia Nut Production
Scientists from the University of Queensland are using genomic selection to search for more effective breeding programs, to support the growing industry.
There are around 800 growers nationwide, with 41 thousand hectares of orchards.
Three quarters of the crop are exported, at a value of 300 million dollars.
