Boosting bush tucker; the key to shoring up food security

Researchers at James Cook University have been mapping the country’s landscape to uncover the best places to grow more 170 bushfoods.

They velueve native bushfoods could be the key to better food security, and repairing enviornmental degredation.

Rural reporter Meg Van Lohuizen caught up with the uni’s Doctor Adam Canning to find out which areas are better placed to grow the natives, and how it will help our supply chain.
