Bob McCarthy speaks about the Inaugural Mortimer-McCarthy Cup

Continuous Call Team

Former Rugby League legend Bob McCarthy joined the Continuous Call Team to speak about the inaugural ‘Mortimer-McCarthy Cup’ between the Bulldogs and the Rabbitohs.

The concept was developed by the Men of League Foundation to acknowledge the contribution McCarthy and Canterbury legends, Steve, Chris and Peter Mortimer made to their clubs.

McCarthy played 206 games for his beloved Rabbitohs before playing 40 games for the Bulldogs, finishing his career back at Souths in 1978.

The Bulldogs and the Rabbitohs will meet on Sunday night at Accor Stadium.
