Truck drivers want safer road conditions, as the number of fatalities rises across regional New South Wales.

More than 250 truck drivers have lost their lives in the last five years.

Rural reporter Georgia Kondek spoke with the Transport Workers Unions Assistant State Secretary Nick Mcintosh who says the numbers are only increasing year on year.
