Queensland’s Joe Burns has been named captain of Italy’s T20 cricket team.

Joe will lead the team in June for qualification games to secure a sport in the Cricket World Cup.

He told Jason Matthews on Wide World of Sports, “As a player, you hear people say all the time, you want to leave the game in a better place than what you found it, it’s a great opportunity to do that.”
