The annual Commonwealth Bank Teaching Awards were announced on Friday, March 19, and 12 inspirational teachers were named from a list of 400 nominees.

Four Queenslanders were among them, including Dr Donna Harvey from Beenleigh State High School.

She helped bring to life a new way of reporting on students through digital badges, which in a sense act as individual portfolios helping to set them up for life after school.
