‘Back the Bid’: Liz Ellis is leading the bid for netball to be added to the Olympics

Carla Bignasca

Chair of Netball Australia, Liz Ellis, is leading the bid for netball to be added to the 2032 Olympic Games in Brisbane. More than 80,000 Aussies have already signed the Back the Bid pledge.

Ellis told Carla Bignasca on 4BC Afternoons, “There’s a million people around the country, not only little girls and women, but little boys and men as well, who love our sport, who take to the court in competitions all over the country, who deserve to have their sport represented on the biggest sporting stage”.

You can join the pledge here.
