The Australian National Dictionary Centre has decided the Word of the Year for 2024. 

Senior Researcher at the Australian National University, Mark Gwynn, joined Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons to discuss the chosen word.

“We’re after something that talks about the year in Australia,” Mr Gwynn said.
