Australia first in line for COVID-19 vaccine

John Stanley

The Australian government has reached an agreement with UK-based drug company AstraZeneca, allowing every Australian first access to a COVID-19 vaccine currently being worked on at the University of Oxford, should all clinical trials go to plan.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has praised the Oxford vaccine, but admits it still has a long way to go.

Nine Radio’s National Political Editor, Michael Pachi, joins John Stanley.
