Audi’s releases a new Q3 premium small SUV
In premium small SUV’s over $40,000 Volvo’s XC 40 is currently the best seller in a fickle SUV market that’s driven very much by the latest product on the market. Back in 2012 the new Audi Q3 arrived and was well received enjoying three years as the top seller before being outgunned by newer product. A new generation Audi Q3 arrives next month and is expected to re-gain segment leadership – Audi upping the value proposition with around $12,000 in extra equipment while pricing has only risen by $3,000. The all-new Audi Q3 will start at $46,400 for the entry 1.4-litre turbo petrol 35 TFSI model with a higher-spec launch edition starting from $52,750. The new Q3 range will also include a new Sportback coupe-style body early next year, followed by other Quattro all-wheel-drive variants and a potent RS Q3 mid-year. A 2.0-litre turbo 40TFSI will also be added but diesel power will not be offered.
