ASIC finds Australia’s biggest super funds failing customers

Carla Bignasca

ASIC has concluded a report finding Australia’s largest super funds have been failing customers.

ASIC Commissioner Simone Constant told Sofie Formica on 4BC Afternoons, “We have put forward 34 recommendations, actually, because the extent and depth and breadth of our findings were so significant.”

“We found some real points of failure that were in control of the trustees.”

“We need trustees to do theirs [job], have operations that deliver the services their members need and don’t fail,” Ms Constant continued.
