Anxiety levels high in basin communities

The Basin socioeconomic Assessment Panel has found the roll out of the Murray Darling Basin Plan is creating anxiety in communities.

The panel has been touring the basin to learn about their experiences with government’s implementation of the plan, speaking with individuals, businesses, and those most reliant on the river system.

It’s made 20 recommendations to government.
