Anne Hollonds has been appointed Australia’s new National Children’s Commissioner.
Since September 2015, Ms Hollonds has been the Director of the Australian Institute of Family Studies (AIFS). AIFS conducts major research into the wellbeing of Australian families, and communicates those findings to strengthen policy making and improve service delivery.
The Federal Assistant Minister for Children and Families Michelle Landry said “Her contribution will be crucial as we continue to work towards doing what we can to ensure that every child born in Australia has the opportunity to be safe, supported and to reach their full potential.”
