Ali Brigginshaw confident leading young Maroons in first Women’s State of Origin game

Women’s State of Origin kicks off this Thursday night in front of 25,000 at Suncorp Stadium.

Queensland will be attempting to retain the shield after making history with victory in the first-ever three-match series.

Queensland Captain Ali Brigginshaw told Peter Fegan on 4BC Breakfast, “We definitely can do it again.”

“After last year’s win, it’s really instilled some confidence within the group.”

“I guess we are missing a couple, but we’ve also got six debutantes, which is very exciting,” Brigginshaw said.
