Agriculture: an essential service

Farmers are calling for agriculture to be classified as an “essential service” to ensure the food supply chain doesn’t break down amid the coronavirus outbreak.

They’re assuring “panic-buyers” they’ll have more than enough fresh produce to go aournd.

Rural reporter Eddie Summerfield caught up with New South Wales Farmers Vice President Chris Groves to find out more.
