Dylan Brown has signed a 10-year $13 million deal with the Newcastle Knights, however, there has been speculation whether that is the right move.

NRL legend Jonathan Thurston told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “Can’t knock him for taking that type of money and moving to Newcastle.”

“The people of Newcastle expect a lot from their footy team, so there’s going to be a lot of pressure on Dylan Brown going there.”

“We know he’s a 5/8. They’ve recruited him as a halfback. Does he have all the tools as a halfback? I reckon he does, but I think it’s going to take a lot of time for him to learn the craft of a halfback,” JT continued.
