A deep dive into seafood fraud

The origin of how your seafood ends up your plate is a journey that could cross the law.

A 2020 analysis of 44 studies shows 30 countries exposed rampant seafood fraud on a global scale, with estimates suggesting one in five fish caught every year is fished illegally or from unreported or unregulated sources.

Ian Connellan, the Editor in Chief at the Royal Institution of Australia, he joins John Stanley to fish out the facts.
