Peter Fegan says it’s time to stand up to fuel companies acting as “price gouging bullies”.

Peter, filling in on Brisbane Live says cost of living pressures are out of control.

The RACQ fair fuel price for unleaded today is $1.817 today, he said.

But across south-east Queensland, prices for unleaded petrol ranged from $1.91 to $1.87.

He said the variation in cost of diesel was the same.

“It’s time the fuel companies are held to account, they are blatantly ripping us off and getting away with it,” he said.

“When will the ACCC or government stand up to the price gouging bullies and hold them to account?”
