The Coalition has blasted Jim Chalmers for dodging questions about future changes to superannuation and capital gains taxes. 

The Treasurer yesterday appeared on Sunrise and was asked several times whether changes to capital gains tax concessions on family homes are on the table.

Hours later, he admitted he should have categorically ruled out the possibility.

“I think the real Jim Chalmers was on display yesterday morning,” Peter Dutton told The Ray Hadley Morning Show.

“It gives you an insight into their thinking, what they would do if they had the chance.”
