Cricket Australia has confirmed Perth’s Optus Stadium will not host the fifth Ashes Test match.

Wide World of Sports host Peter Psaltis joined Scott Emerson to talk about the news.

The question remains where the fifth and final test will be held.

“Cricket Australia, they’ve tried their best here, they’ve tried to work with the WA government to get the Perth Test over the line,” he said.

He said discussions are underway for a replacement venue.

“So Scott I guess we can now start guessing, will it be Canberra, Hobart or the elephant in the room … a day night test in Melbourne.”
